A recipe-free post today. Aside from the fabulous weather (and living in the UK you have to take advantage of these rare occurances), it’s hubby’s birthday. This evening is also the Euro 2012 football semi-final between Italy and Germany, so we’ll all have our Italian shirts on and be having dinner in front of the television. I decided I’d make lasagne as you can easily eat that one-handed (with a beer in the other!), but after spending the morning in a hot kitchen making a cake (and yes, I’m still experimenting with the apple sauce), I’m not that eager to get back to cooking.
